Introduction
The industry-specific power supplies are dedicated for wide scale of applications, which require to be supplied from a tailored-made specific equipment. The power sources are developed specifically for use in the electrical testing rooms, for power supply of specific loads or feeding of electrical devices from atypical power grids.
The power supply were designed to provide a variable AC voltage with sinus waveform or DC voltage. The combined variants can provide both an output voltage of AC and DC type. The voltage range is typically up to 1000 V, it is possible to supply a customized solution for high-voltage applications up to 30 kV.
The main functionality is based on the principle of frequency converter with specific control. The “embedded” software enables an independent control of voltage and frequency, current control, voltage symmetrisation, modulation control and many other specific control modes.
The control can be either manually by means of integrated or portable control panel, or by remote control system (PLC, PC) through communication interface based on MODBUS TCP/RTU protocol.
The power supply are being used in the electrical motor test rooms for various tests as no-load run, locked-rotor test, insulation test, load test, thermal test etc.
